For a long time I looked to the women I saw in magazines for images of beauty. With their pictures taped to my wall like almost every teenage girl I never realized that these models and celebrities are retouched and photoshopped for a certain standard of beauty. In this website I hope to give you an example of how social media and these images of "women" affect girls development and to show you that real women do exist and that its time to realize what is really real. I want to present the reality of social media and how it is affecting the way we look, think, and even live in order to be present in the social media sphere. The website is designed to show you the problems but to also offer a way to take yourself out of the world of social media in order to really live without looking for the approval of strangers for a "like".
